The decision by Bernie Sanders to leave the race for the Democratic presidential nomination in the US buoyed health insurance shares on the NYSE, Reuters reported.
The S&P500 was up 2.5% by early afternoon New York time, with several health insurers among the big gainers.
Cigna was up 6.8%,
