Scales drops $33.8m into US petfood business
More acquisitions could be on the cards, the company says.
Christchurch-based agribusiness Scales Corporation is set to extend its petfood ingredients business Meateor through the acquisition of 60% of Shelby JV LLC.
Shelby is a US-based buyer, processor, and seller of ingredients for the pet food industry.
