Seeka half-year net profit up despite $5.3m Covid bill
Bumper kiwifruit harvest despite lockdown but expect lower earnings for second half-year.
Seeka, the Te Puke-based fruit grower, coolstore, and packhouse operator, has reported an almost 55% lift in the company’s unaudited profit after tax to $18.4 million for the six months ended June 30, 2020, up from $11.9m in the same period the prior year.
