Kiwifruit company Seeka, a major supplier to Zespri, has a conditional deal to amalgamate with much-smaller kiwifruit grower and packer Opotiki Packing and Coolstorage Ltd (OPAC), the biggest employer in Opotiki district.
The deal, which needs the thumbs-up from at least 75% of OPAC
