Timber company stung with large fines after two accidents in close succession

WorkSafe says the company should have learnt from the first incident, which resulted in a worker losing a hand.

Rotorua-based wood processor Claymark was ordered to pay over $680,000 of fines in the Rotorua District Court yesterday after two workers were seriously injured within three months.
