Government trade promotion agency New Zealand Trade and Enterprise is having to slash $44 million out of its annual costs as Covid-19 recovery funding comes to an end.
The cuts will mean a halving of its International Growth Fund supporting high-growth Kiwi exporters, and frontline job losses.
