Truckometer taps on the brakes

The ANZ Truckometer indexes, which measure freight movements, show signs of a foot on the brakes during November.

The Heavy Traffic Index eased 1.9% from October after a strong lift the previous month.

The Light Traffic Index, which gives a six-month lead on the broader economy, rose 0.1%
