Whole milk powder staves off global dairy price fall

Benchmark whole milk powder rose against the trend as dairy prices continued their slide in Fonterra’s overnight GlobalDairyTrade auction.
The GDT Price Index fell 0.2% to $US3255 a tonne while WMP rose 2.1% to $US3100/t. It accounted for about 55% of the 34,410t of product sold.
