Wellington’s oldest gym chain, Sports-Wide - which disputes it owes the Inland Revenue Department more than $1 million in unpaid taxes - has narrowly escaped liquidation.
“The debt is not what the IRD says it is,” Sports-Wide lawyer Graeme Withers told NBR ONLINE.
