The new Ghibli is the first Maserati in history to be powered by a diesel engine.

The Ghibli – a smaller car than the Quattroporte and rival for the Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series – will be available with a 3.0-litre turbo diesel engine option, in addition to a brace of 3.0-litre V6 turbo petrol
