Century 21 is to turn its gold staff jackets pink during October, in an initiative aimed at raising awareness and funds for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
Century 21 real estate agents across New Zealand will wear limited edition pink jackets at their offices, at auctions, open homes and in their local areas during October.
“This devastating illness continues to touch the lives of sufferers and their loved ones across New Zealand, and like many other businesses our network is not immune to the impact of this,” Century 21 New Zealand national manager Geoff Barnett says. “It is our hope that by changing our gold real estate jacket pink, we will be helping to generate greater awareness of the cause within New Zealand while raising funds for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation,” Mr Barnett says.
Century 21 is the largest real estate sales organisation in the world.
The gold jacket is synonymous with real estate globally, featuring in the original Ghost Busters movie and other films and television commercials. Century 21 agents will be displaying pink merchandise in their offices and hosting various fundraising events in their local communities throughout October. The Breast Cancer Foundation supports women affected by breast cancer and raises funds for vital cancer research, prevention programs and support services.
