This is a supplied media release.
Effective October 1, 2017, Sarah Havard will step down from her role as General Manager New Zealand and the Pacific Islands following 23 years with the company, where she has been responsible for the airlines within the Lufthansa Group – Lufthansa, SWISS and Austrian Airlines.
Sarah Havard will be succeeded by Anton Musin, who also joined the company in 1994 and has 23 years with the company. Anton is currently the Lufthansa Group Sales and Marketing Manager New Zealand and Pacific Islands.
The Lufthansa Group wish Sarah all the very best and thank her immensely for the success she has created in the New Zealand market over the past 23 years. “I have had a wonderful and rewarding career here at the Lufthansa Group these past 23 years, and overall an amazing 35 year career with the airline industry as a whole, but it is time to pursue new challenges,” said Havard. “I am very proud of the success we have delivered and it has been an absolute pleasure leading such a great team here in Auckland,” she added.
“It is now time to pass the baton on, and there could not be a better person than Anton to take over the General Manager role in New Zealand. I wish him all the very best.”
