Christchurch's new Hong Kong link boosts South Island tourism

The seasonal seasonal service will run three times a week for three months over summer.

Hong Kong and Christchurch will be linked directly by air for the first time this weekend when Cathay Pacific launches a new seasonal service.

The inaugural flight by the new-generation Airbus A350 will also be the first regular service by this aircraft into Christchurch.
