Head of Datacom's software-as-a-service business steps into the top local job in October.

Datacom Group has appointed Peter Nelson as managing director of its New Zealand business, effective from October 1.
Nelson is currently head of the company’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) products, which includes its Datascape and Datapay solutions, and has held various senior and strategic roles
