EY has welcomed seven new partners and three new associate partners in the 2023 financial year, across a diverse range of service areas.
This number includes three internal promotions to partner, four direct appointments to partner, and three associate partner appointments.
The new appointments demonstrate the firm’s continued growth in key service sectors: four in the firm’s technology consulting team; one in business consulting (specialising in the public, health and Māori sectors); one in cybersecurity; one in sustainability; one in tax; one in business valuation; and one in EY’s market leading assurance practice.
“I am both excited and proud to welcome our newest cohort of leaders. They are an incredibly talented group, each with their own unique skill sets and values, and I know they will all make a meaningful contribution to our clients” managing partner, Simon O’Connor said.
“As Kiwi businesses navigate a tougher economic environment, new reporting requirements and increased security risks, clients continue to seek our assistance with their more complex challenges and issues. By bolstering our partner numbers across a range of different fields, we’re ensuring EY continues to have the expertise and availability to serve the business community, from our large corporate clients to small businesses and Government,” O’Connor added.
