New Zealand’s largest locally owned life insurer Fidelity Life has secured the services of one of New Zealand’s top technology executives, with Angela Henderson set to take on the role of chief information officer from early May 2024.

Currently GM digital at Kiwi Property Group, Henderson has more than 15 years’ experience in financial services in New Zealand and the UK, and has held digital and transformation leadership roles at Air New Zealand, Westpac NZ, and Ports of Auckland. She is also a strong advocate for women in business and technology.

As CIO, Henderson will also take on Fidelity Life’s portfolio governance and delivery responsibilities.

Fidelity Life chief executive Campbell Mitchell said he was delighted to welcome Angela to his executive team: “Angela is a great addition to our team and a great fit for Fidelity Life. Her deep experience in portfolio governance, change management and product delivery, not to mention digital strategy and leadership, is something the team is really looking forward to tapping in to.”
