Australasia’s leading integrated financial advisory and accounting services provider, Findex, has appointed 34 new partners to its growing Partnership Group, strengthening the pipeline of diverse leadership and accelerating its mission to provide access to trusted wealth advice and financial services across metro and regional markets.
Findex has elevated 28 Australian and six New Zealand advisers from its 3000-strong workforce. The promotions to senior partner, partner, and associate partner roles mark a strategic investment in growing Findex’s network of advisory professionals across more than 100 metropolitan and regional markets. It also reinforces Findex’s commitment to developing diverse, local talent from the ground up, developing engaged leadership, and investing in long-term career pathways.
Findex Co-CEO Matt Games said: “We are excited to welcome our newest partners, whose outstanding expertise, local insight, and commitment to client success are key to our ongoing growth strategy … as we continue to expand our offering across the ANZ region.”
Many appointees, including partner Samantha Murnane (Mildura, Vic) and Partner Sandra Wolstenholme (Dubbo, NSW) started with Findex more than two decades ago and have steadily grown into leadership roles. Their long-standing tenures reflect the value Findex places on developing talent from within the business and creating careers that evolve with professionals.
Others bring unique local perspectives. Associate partner Danielle Maudsley (Kingaroy, QLD) walks in the same footsteps as many of Findex’s clients, running a beef primary production business with her husband, alongside her work as an accountant.
With a trans-Tasman footprint, Findex enables talent mobility across offices, offering its advisers flexibility in their career and lifestyle. Partner Michael Callander (Christchurch, NZ) for example, transitioned from Findex’s Dunedin office where he began his career as a graduate, to the firm’s Christchurch offices in 2023, taking on an associate partner role. In Australia, associate partner Georgie O’Brien (Brisbane, QLD) and associate partner Trent Turner (Brisbane, QLD) leveraged the internal mobility program to relocate, expanding their career paths, bringing with them, specialised regional knowledge to more urban centres.
“We’re building a nationally connected, community-focused advice network that is accessible, inclusive and future-ready. Every partner appointment is a step forward in achieving that vision,” said Games.
“With fewer than 20% of Australians currently receiving ongoing financial advice, Findex continues to lead industry change. Through digital innovation of technology-enabled service delivery, and a fully integrated advice models spanning wealth, accounting, insurance, and business advisory, and audit services, we’re equipping our advisers with the tools to deliver scalable, streamlined and strategic support.”
