Findex makes 11 high-profile NZ partner appointments

Based in Tauranga, Christchurch, Wellington and Queenstown, they are part of 57 Australasian appointments.

Professional advisory solutions firm Findex targets NZ growth as it swoops on high-profile talent to build its corporate, tax and business advisory capabilities, announcing 57 new partner appointments across Australasia, specifically with 11 new high-profile partner appointments in Tauranga, Christchurch, Wellington and Queenstown.

The specialist appointments in corporate finance and tax advisory is aimed at giving regional NZ clients better access to advisory services.

The partner appointments include:

Rachel Prendergast

• Queenstown-based Rachel Prendergast has been promoted to associate partner, business advisory. Part of the Central Otago team for 15 years, Rachel is a sought-after expert in adventure tourism, hospitality, government services and business strategy.

 

Rochelle Roddick

• Rochelle Roddick has been promoted to partner after seven years with Findex Wellington. Specialising in tax advisory, Rochelle was formerly the European tax manager for a Nasdaq-listed technology company where she provided tax advice across the group’s European entities and to the parent company based in Silicon Valley, California.

 

Teresa Harris

• Business advisory specialist Teresa Harris been appointed a partner with Findex Christchurch. Teresa has more than 25 years’ experience as an employer and business owner in public practice as a chartered accountant and more than 35 years working in public practice providing both core accounting and business advisory services.

 

Jeremy Curragh Findex

• Chartered accountant Jeremy Curragh moves into the role of managing partner of Findex Auckland and Tauranga, building on more than 20 years’ experience in both the commercial sector and public practice. As lead of the New Zealand performance consulting team, Curragh specialises in strategy development with a focus on innovation, governance, Māori business advisory, business performance and professional sports.

Findex chief operating officer Tony Roussos said the new partner appointments in New Zealand and across the Australasian network came at a pivotal growth stage for the company. “Findex has expanded significantly this year across several divisions, and we have no doubt our new partners will play a critical role in future growth.” 
The firm, which is in over 110 locations, as the Australasian arm of Crowe Global, noted that 68% of recent appointments came via internal promotion.
