Forescout has appointed Terrie Anderson to the role of country manager for Australia and New Zealand. In this role, she will focus on helping organisations adopt Forescout’s device visibility and control platform as part of their broader cybersecurity strategy. Anderson will also drive awareness of the market drivers and trends, including Internet of Things security, convergence of IT/operational technology (OT), compliance risks, in addition to supporting the company’s partners as they demonstrate value-add to enterprise and public sector organisations.
Forescout’s technology also provides an orchestration layer to automate control of devices that do not meet organisational policy, thus offering a platform that strategically expands the solution solving business issues such as device compliance, asset management, network segmentation, network access control, and incident response.

Anderson has more than 20 years’ experience in Australia, as well as more broadly across APAC region, having held leadership roles in companies such as Venafi, Riverbed Technology, Entrust, Symantec, Ubizen, Cisco Systems and RSA. She has also been the chair and strategy lead of not-for-profit organisation, Females in Information Technology and Telecommunications. Anderson is a volunteer mentor for CyRise, a partnership between Deakin University and Dimension Data. She has authored and published three books in human development and communication.
