Richard Klipin joined the FSC in 2016,
The CEO of the Financial Services Council of New Zealand has joined the board of Trustees Executors.
The appointment of Richard Klipin fills the final independent directorship position on the board of New Zealand’s oldest trustee company.
Klipin is well known in both the Australian and New Zealand financial services sectors, having previously held senior executive roles at Commonwealth Bank (Sovereign Assurance), ANZ Banking Group (Millennium 3), the Association of Financial Advisers, and ING. He joined the FSC in 2016.
Ryan Bessemer, TE’s chief executive and executive director, said: “Richard has an impressive 30-year trans-Tasman career covering the commercial and non-profit sectors.”
Klipin joins newly appointed chair Laurence Kubiak and fellow directors, Victoria Grace, Graeme Kirkpatrick, and Ryan Bessemer.
