Apollo Foods CFO Megan Allan has joined the board of Hawke’s Bay Airport, appointed by the Crown to represent its 50% shareholding.
Allan replaces long-serving Crown-appointed airport director Wendie Harvey, who stood down in May after reaching the maximum term allowable under the airport’s charter.
Airport chair Jon Nichols said Allan brings financial expertise and practical governance experience coupled with a strong community and customer focus to her role as a director at Hawke’s Bay Airport.
“As a proud Hawke’s Bay local and CFO at Apollo Foods Ltd, Megan is committed to building strong brands and making financial decisions that positively impact the local community and support sustainable growth in the region.
“That completely aligns with what we are trying to achieve at Hawke’s Bay Airport,” Nichols said.
Allan’s governance experience includes serving on boards deeply rooted in local community development, sport, and education. She is a board member of Re-Source Hawke’s Bay and Hawke’s Bay Netball. As a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors, Allan applies strategic leadership, risk oversight, and fiduciary responsibilities to support community-focused outcomes.
