Alliance Group has announced the appointment of Mark Wynne as an independent director to its board.
Wynne replaces Graeme Milne, who retires from the board at the cooperative’s annual meeting on December 16.
Wynne is currently chief executive of Ballance Agri-Nutrients. Prior to that, he was president South Asia for Kimberly-Clark. He has extensive experience in agribusiness, including 20 years in the dairy industry.
Alliance Group chair Murray Taggart said “Mark has significant experience in global sales and marketing, business transformation, and co-operatives.”
Taggart thanked Graeme Milne for his service to the Alliance board over the past nine years. “He has been an active and valued director.”
Alliance Group’s annual meeting on December 16 will be hosted online due to Covid-19 restrictions. Farmer shareholders have been sent a formal notice of the meeting.
