The chair of both boards, Suzanne Tindal, said the appointments would add depth to the governance of both organisations.
Nash is already a director on the Quotable Value board, and has previously held roles as chief operating officer and chief information officer at REANNZ, chief information and technology officer at NZ Rugby, and chief information officer at AA Insurance. She has also worked at Kordia, STRmix, and Spark.
She was co-chair at Faucet Foundation, and was also a director at NZTech, AA Home, Parafed Auckland and Tennis New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Chris Gudgeon would bring leadership and governance experience in property and infrastructure strategy, funding and development to the Railways Corporation, which oversaw rail land on behalf of the Government, Tindal said.
Gudgeon is an experienced director with a 30-year executive career in real estate investment, management and development across retail, office, industrial, residential, hotel and airport sectors.
He was previously chief executive of Kiwi Property Group and Capital Properties. He chairs Ngāti Whatua Ōrakei Whai Rawa and was on the property advisory committee for KiwiRail for nine years until 2024.
Angela Edwards has also been reappointed to the Railways Corporation board, where she has served since 2020.
Edwards is a chartered accountant and partner leading the audit and assurance practice at BDO in Kerikeri. She is also a director of Crown Regional Holdings.
