NZ Thoroughbred Racing appoints new CEO

Current COO Bruce Sharrock has been appointed as CEO.

Current chief operations officer Bruce Sharrock has been appointed the new chief executive officer for New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing (NZTR).

Sharrock has worked in sports management for over 20 years and was previously a member of the NZTR board of directors.

“I am extremely proud and excited to be given the responsibility and opportunity to lead the industry into the future,” said Sharrock.

Sharrock is expected to begin as CEO on April 4.
