NZX-listed software-as-a-service fintech PaySauce today announced that independent director, Mike (MOD) O'Donnell has provided notice of his intention to resign from the board.

O'Donnell has been a director of PaySauce for the last five years and is currently in his second term. He has tabled his resignation to allow him to take up a role as regional trade director for NZ Trade & Enterprise based in Los Angeles.

This will see him lead NZTE’s largest trade team with offices across the US and Canada. Consistent with his contract O'Donnell will work out a six week notice period at PaySauce, with his last day being August 8.

Chair Shelley Ruha said: “We thank MOD for his good work on the board and wish him well in his new role. In the meantime, we will review the balance of independence, skills, knowledge, experience and perspectives among the remaining directors and provide an update on the board composition at the annual shareholders meeting in September.”

O'Donnell was previously the chief operating officer at TradeMe, resigning in 2018 after a decade with that company.

PaySauce's technology enables small employers to digitally onboard, pay and manage employees from any device. The platform includes rosters, mobile timesheets, payroll calculations, banking integration, automated payments, PAYE filing, labour costing, and automated general ledger entries.
