Technology services firm Provoke has appointed Ankit Gupta as chief executive for Asia Pacific.
Gupta will lead the company’s growth from New Zealand, focusing on empowering enterprise clients to harness the power of AI, digital transformation, and intelligent solutions.
Last year, Provoke Solutions merged with Pontis Technology under a new brand name, Ponteva. The firm is owned by US-based private investment firm Bridgewest Group.
Ponteva chairman Ivan Mijatovic said Gupta brought a unique combination of visionary leadership, deep market understanding, and a passion for transformative technology that aligned with the company’s global strategy.
“Since joining Provoke APAC in July 2025, Ankit has played a pivotal role in accelerating our regional momentum, scaling our sales and delivery capabilities, and consistently delivering outstanding results for our clients and partners,” he said.
In his new role, Gupta will focus on scaling Provoke’s presence in the region, strengthening partnerships, and accelerating the adoption of the company’s proprietary agentic platform.
“We are at a pivotal moment where organisations are looking beyond digital transformation to truly intelligent transformation,” he said in a statement.
