Seek has announced the appointment of Rob Clark as New Zealand country manager, following the retirement of Janet Faulding at the end of June 2021.
Seek’s ANZ managing director Kendra Banks said: “We are thrilled to welcome Rob to the Seek team. Our focus is on building a culture of customer-focused innovation and commitment to our purpose. Rob’s leadership experience, developed in both New Zealand and overseas, will allow Seek New Zealand to pursue its vision and purpose.”
Previously, Clark was the managing director New Zealand for The Nielsen Company and has also held senior roles with the same organisation in Europe and parts of Asia, leading sales, account management and marketing functions.
Commenting on his appointment, Clark said he was looking forward to joining the team. “Seek is ... the country’s most visited employment site. I am thrilled to be joining Seek, to help the team continue the great work achieved to date.”
Banks also commented on Faulding’s lasting contribution to Seek: “In her decade of leadership, Janet’s vision has grown the connection between hirers and candidates significantly. She has worked tirelessly to support organisations in their quest for talent, and help countless candidates find meaningful careers. We ... would like to thank her for her service.”
Clark will be the spokesperson for Seek’s Employment Report, which is a leading indicator into New Zealand’s employment market.
