Sports Entertainment Network has announced the appointment of Neil Jackson to the role of chief commercial officer at the soon-to-launch SENZ.
Formerly of NZME, where he held senior commercial leadership roles including head of sales and national sales manager for the past 10 years, Jackson will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge of the New Zealand media landscape.
Jackson said SENZ was a natural fit, combining his media sales experience and love for sport. “The opportunity to get involved with like-minded individuals who share a passion for sport, media and building success was too hard to turn down,” he said.
SENZ acting CEO Jodie Simm said: ‘Neil shares the Sports Entertainment Network’s ‘partner first’ ethos and we are delighted to welcome Neil as SENZ’s chief commercial officer to build and nurture partnerships with brands and businesses across the country”.
SENZ is set to establish broadcast hubs in Auckland and Wellington and produce local, national and international sports content, to replace Radio Sport, which closed in April 2020, leaving no radio network in New Zealand offering full-service, 24/7 dedicated sports coverage.
