Telco 2degrees appoints new chief executive

2degrees promotes chief financial officer Mark Aue to chief executive.

The 2degrees Board has appointed Mark Aue as the company’s new chief executive.

Mr Aue joined 2degrees in July 2018 as its chief financial officer. Once 2degrees appoints a new chief financial officer to take his place, he will begin his new role as chief executive as part of an orderly transition plan.

That will allow the current CEO Stewart Sherriff to retire as previously announced.

Mr Aue has formerly served as chief financial officer of Vodafone New Zealand, chief financial officer of Vodafone’s global enterprise division in the UK, and as a director of Vodafone Fiji.
