Trustees Executors has announced the appointment of Akash Mittal as the new chief information officer for the company.
Trustees Executors is New Zealand’s oldest independent trustee company established in 1881 and offers estate planning, trustee, and investment advisory services.
Mittal has 15 years of experience in IT operations and digital transformation and has been responsible for managing IT infrastructure, cyber security, software enhancement, and process optimisation.
He said: “It is incredibly exciting to join Trustees Executors and to be given the opportunity to shape its digital transformation journey post-Covid.”
Trustees Executors chief executive Ryan Bessemer said Mittal’s appointment “will assist with our ability to monitor, detect, and respond to increasingly sophisticated threats in a 24/7 environment. It will also ensure we are making continuous improvements to our cyber defence and response capabilities”.
