NZX Limited has announced two senior leadership appointments in its wholly owned subsidiary NZX Wealth Technologies (NZXWT).
Josh Hunt has been appointed head of customer solutions, while Jarrod McDonald has been appointed head of relationship management.
Hunt will be responsible for leading NZXWT’s engagement with prospective clients and shaping the firm’s sales strategy. He will focus on market growth, working closely with wealth managers, advisers and investment providers.
He previously worked within the business as a senior functional consultant and most recently held senior roles at FNZ, where he focused on platform solutions and commercial engagement.
McDonald joined NZXWT in 2022 as business development manager. He will lead the relationship management team, overseeing client relationships and service delivery.
NZX Wealth Technologies chief executive Robbie Douglas said the appointments strengthened both the commercial and client leadership of the business.
“Josh will lead our sales and market engagement, partnering with new clients to shape platform solutions that support their long-term growth. At the same time, Jarrod’s move reflects our commitment to our existing clients, ensuring we continue to invest in strong relationships and service quality as the platform grows.”
At the end of the 2025 financial year, the platform reported funds under administration of $19.9 billion, representing year-on-year growth of 23.1 per cent, and onboarded 13 new clients, bringing the total number of clients to 45. Annual recurring income increased by 22.2 per cent.
