Cameron Heath has been appointed managing director at Unilever New Zealand.
Heath becomes head of the global consumer goods' New Zealand division following seven years with Unilever, most recently as Baltics general manager based in Latvia.
Prior to that, he spent four years as marketing director of food and beverages in Prague for Unilever.
Heath also spent seven years with Procter & Gamble, spanning a number of customer development and category strategy roles, including time working in the New Zealand market.
With 15 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, Heath brings extensive marketing and category management experience to the role.
“I’m thrilled to take the reins of the New Zealand business,” Heath said.
Heath started the role remotely from Australia in November last year and is looking forward to joining his team on the ground in New Zealand from April 20.
Predecessor, Nick Bangs will be moving to Sydney to take on the role of general manager of the home, beauty, and personal care for Unilever Australia and New Zealand.
