Complaints against lawyers rise as theft fund grows

Complaints against lawyers rose by almost 8%, or 117 complaints, to 1536 in the last year, according to the NZ Law Society.

The society's annual report reveals it has also set aside nearly $1.1 million to cover future payments of claims relating to known or suspected thefts.
