Honey company Comvita forecast a one-off tax charge of $1.47 million this financial year as a result of tax changes announced in the Government's May budget.
Changes to depreciation rules and a cut in the company tax rate to 28 percent from 30 percent would increase the group's tax expense charge, but was a non-cash accounting item which had no impact on the company's business, Comvita said.
The adjustment would be recognised in the result for the six months ended September 30.
