This is a supplied media release.

Coretex Limited, a rapidly growing New Zealand-based technology company delivering GPS-based fleet management solutions, has appointed Tim Nichols as its Chief Marketing Officer.

Nichols joins the organisation from Serko, where he was Chief Product Officer for three and a half years. At Serko Nichols was responsible for overall product strategy and marketing for the NZX-listed business. Prior to Serko, Nichols spent over 15 years in product management and marketing roles in the UK, the USA, New Zealand and Australia.

“Tim brings with him a wealth of experience in building and developing successful software/hardware propositions for high-growth companies in the tech sector, including having previously held the role of Global VP of Marketing for Endace, which is a great New Zealand tech success story,” said Selwyn Pellett, Coretex CEO.

Nichols said, “I'm passionate about helping innovative tech companies take on the world and disrupt staid industries for the benefit of customers and shareholders. I am looking forward to joining Coretex in its next stage of growth.”

Pellett says Coretex is facing exceptional growth and opportunities both locally and globally.

“Having Tim join the team will help Coretex realise the full potential of the technology solutions we have built to address the needs of the food safety (Cold Chain), construction (Ready-Mix), waste and recycling industries. In addition, Tim will help lift awareness of our next-generation general compliance solutions that address broader transportation industry challenges such as electronic road user charges,” said Pellett.
