Guilt free shopping and supporting a good cause - bliss.

Air NZ boss Rob Fyfe - known for his flamboyant dress sense - is throwing his support behind a new campaign to raise awareness of Hospice shops.

Give It Up has two phases; first, encouraging the public to sort through unwanted clothes and donate designer and well-known labelled clothing for the Hospice 2011 Fashion Collection, and then from November 21 putting said garments on display for interested purchasers.

“Hospice provides an amazing level of care and support to people nearing the end. They’re also a vital support for families going through this experience," says Mr Fyfe, a regular donor to hospice shops already. Until recently, his mother managed a Hospice shop meaning, he says, most of his unwanted clothes ended up there.

“It’s a great chance for staff to spring clean their wardrobes and help Hospice at the same time.”
