The son of the president of the Court of Appeal has died in a tragic accident overseas.
Nick Young, 27, son of Justice Sir William (Willy) Young and wife Susan, died in Vancouver after being hit by a car on January 19.
Last week the Vancouver Sun reported a 27-year-old pedestrian who had been hit by a car on Tuesday night had died of his injuries.
He had been jogging when he was hit by a car at the intersection of East King Edward Ave and St George St in Vancouver.
The man was crossing St George St near the main road when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle.
The paper reported it was Vancouver’s third pedestrian fatality of the year.
