‘Critter’ Casella buys artistic Barossa label

Barossa Valley’s Peter Lehmann Wines – famous for its high art labels – has been sold to New South Wales-based Casella Wines, maker of the export-leading Yellow Tail “critter” label.

Lehmann’s 85.7% shareholder, The Hess Group of Switzerland, has accepted an offer of $US1.31 a share, or $US49.5
