Reports claim a Cuban airliner flying from Santiago to Havana has crashed with 68 people onboard including 28 foreigners.
The state-owned AeroCarribbean plane, carrying 61 passengers and seven crew is thought to have crashed near the village of Guasimal in Santi Spiritus province.
The nationality of the foreigners on board is not known.
