Dairy commodity prices strengthened at Fonterra's overnight online auction, with the globalDairyTrade trade weighted index rising 2.4 percent, and the average winning price up to $US3690 ($NZ4989) from $US3594 a fortnight ago.
For anhydrous milk fat, the trade weighted price rose 0.7 percent to an average $US5380, butter milk powder was down 0.7 percent to $US3020, skim milk powder lifted 2.5 percent to $US3128, and whole milk powder gained 2.6 percent to $US3620.
