Dennis Church to join the board of Saturn Invest NZ Ltd

Craig Stobo, director of Saturn Invest NZ Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Dennis Church to the board of Saturn Invest NZ Ltd, the licenced manager of the Portfolio Superannuation Scheme.
“Mr Church brings to us a wealth of knowledge and expertise from his long career in financial services industry, most recently as General Manager of Corporate Trustee Services for Public Trust. While responsible for strategic and business planning , and business development, he led the business through a period of significant change particularly in relation to the regulatory environment, with the advent of trustee and manager licensing, the establishment of the FMA, and the introduction of the Financial Markets Conduct Act.”
Mr Stobo believed that Mr Church was well suited to assist with the governance of Saturn Invest NZ Ltd and its scheme. “The Portfolio Superannuation Scheme (PSS) is a long established scheme, having commenced in 1978, and is now one of the few ROPS compliant superannuation schemes in NZ which are authorized by HMRS to accept UK pension transfers” said Mr Stobo.
“Having spent considerable time and resources to obtain a Managed Investment Scheme licence from the FMA it is now timely to increase the focus on the needs of existing and future members. I am looking forward to working with Mr Church to achieve that.”
