The Department of Conservation (DoC) has again received the top accolade for the most attractive employer at the annual Randstad Award held in Auckland last night.

DoC won last year's award while other public service employers dominated the runners-up list, with TVNZ second and the NZ Customs Service third.

In all, seven of the top 10 most attractive places to work were in the public or education and training services sectors.

Others in the top 10 were the Ministry of Business (fourth), the University of Auckland (fifth), Massey University (sixth), Victoria University (seventh), Kiwibank (eighth), AUT University (ninth) and Deloitte (10th).

The Randstad Award, which recognises those organisations that New Zealanders find the most attractive, was presented in front of senior executives from New Zealand’s top 20 most attractive employers.

Education and training services (33.08%), media (31.87%) and professional services (31.09%) are the three most attractive sectors, Randstad employer branding research shows.
