Kiwi dollar testing three-year low against AUD as rates diverge
The disparity between the currencies is its widest point since September 2022.
The closest the Kiwi has come to parity with the AUD was when it hit $1.03 in November 2021.
With central banks on either side of the Tasman likely moving in different directions on interest rates, the New Zealand dollar has weakened significantly in recent weeks against its Australian counterpart and is now close to a three-year low.
