Reserve Bank addresses concerns about MPS gap
However, it insists there is no evidence that a 12-week gap over Christmas has caused problems.
The Reserve Bank is altering its monetary policy review schedule.
The Reserve Bank is making a slight change to its monetary policy reviews next year, by publishing its last Monetary Policy Statement (MPS) in December, rather than November.
The bank’s last monetary policy review this year will be released on November 26, a timeline similar to previous years.
