Prime Minister John Key is heading back to Sri Lanka this week with a business mission and the aim of boosting trade with a fellow Commonwealth country.

In 2013, I commended Mr Key for refusing to bow to left-wing pressure to boycott the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting (Chogm).
