EQC slow to pay out

More than one year after the biggest February 2011 earthquake just one quarter of Earthquake Commission claims have been paid.

EQC reports it has paid out $3 billion on claims out of the total $12 billion received.

This represents more than 100,000 of the 413,000 building claims lodged
