ERA umpire rules on cricket man's dismissal

A former Molyneux Park, Alexandra, groundsman, sacked because of the state of the cricket pitch, has won a payout for wrongful dismissal.

Richard McAlevey lost his job in November 2009 after the pitch at the popular sports ground failed to meet New Zealand Cricket's standards.
