A new resource for event organisers was launched by Economic Development Minister Gerry Brownlee this morning.
The Events Resource Bank would be targeted at major event organisers and would hold information relevant to events of all types and sizes.
It would draw on the tried and true knowledge and expertise of New Zealand's most experienced and successful event professionals, Mr Brownlee said.
It will contain best practice information, examples, checklists and templates and the material would be continuously updated.
The resource was available at www.majorevents.govt.nz.
