Experienced property manager, Mike Smith, has joined CBRE's Asset Services team as Associate Director, based in the Christchurch office.

Experienced property manager, Mike Smith, has joined CBRE’s Asset Services team as Associate Director, based in the Christchurch office.
In his new role, Mike will be overseeing the Christchurch Asset Services team and delivering further quality asset management for CBRE clients. Due to his strong relationships with Christchurch property owners and new opportunities from the rebuild, Mike will focus on growing CBRE’s asset management portfolio.
Mike joins CBRE from JLL, where he was responsible for the full operation of Eastgate Shopping Centre. This included all tenant liaison, redevelopment work as required, plus marketing of the centre, which included becoming the “Official Mall of the Crusaders”.
Previously Mike worked for Oyster managing Dress-Smart Hornby. He also has over 20 years of retail experience including management roles with both Starbucks and Subway.
Tim Rookes, Managing Director of CBRE Christchurch, said he was excited to welcome Mike to the business.
