Fewer farm sales but prices steady

Real Estate Institute figures show 70 fewer farm sales for the three months ended February 2015 than for the three months ended February 2014.

The number of farm sales is easing and prices are steady in the face of volatile international commodity prices.

Some agencies continued to report record prices for top dairy properties over the past couple of months, in spite of easing milk solid prices.
